St. Patrick Parish Religious Education Program consists of 5 consecutive years of religious formation in the Catholic Faith which includes sacramental preparation for Reconciliation (Penance), First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
The 5-Year Program Schedule consists of the following:
- 2 years before receiving Reconciliation and First Holy Communion
- 1 year of Bible Study. This course is obligatory before beginning preparation for Confirmation.
- 2 years of Confirmation preparation
2024-2025 REGISTRATION FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (CCD)
New registrations for CCD) for the 2023-2024 school year will take place in the Religious Education Office on Monday, May 20 through Thursday, June 20th.
Registration from May 20-31 will accept students who have been in the program during the 2023-2024 school year, as well as their siblings who are NEW to the program.
Registration from June 3 to 20 will accept NEW students only. There will be NO waiting list and registration will end on June 20.
NEW students must bring a copy of their Baptismal Certificate on Registration Day.
Registration Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Wednesday: 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM
KEEP IN MIND: The office will be closed during lunch time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
May 27 (Memorial Day) the office will be closed and there will be No registrations.
Masks are suggested to enter the building. Children must remain in the lobby and be supervised at all times.
REGISTRATION RULES AND FEES:
If you are unable to attend any of the registration dates above, call the Religious Education Office at 610-272-4500 to speak with Sister Elenore. Give your name, the name (-s) of the children to be enrolled and the registration will be listed and reserved only until August 7-11. We will only register those who call. We ask that parents respect the finality of registrations since there are many opportunities to come or to call.
Annual Registration fees: Fees are payable at registration – $125 for first child, $100 for second, $75 for third, $50 for the fourth child. No fees for fifth child or more. There is no sacramental fee. Payments accepted in cash ONLY.
***Note: If you are not formally enrolled as a Parishioner of St. Patrick Church; that is, your family information is not recorded in the Parish database, no CCD registrations will be accepted until you are enrolled with the Parish. If your child was baptized at St. Patrick Parish that does not necessarily mean that your family is registered. Please contact our Parish Secretary, Mirta Frias to check your enrollment status.
***Children must be at least 8 years old going into 3rd grade. Children who have recently arrived in the United States must be enrolled and acclimated in a public school for at least one year before they are accepted into the program.
***Parents of first-year students must register for the first of the four courses (the Creed). Parents with children who will receive sacraments, (First Holy Communion or Confirmation), are obliged to attend the course called Sacraments. It is recommended that parents attend all four courses during the year.
